Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscription fees are charged to your App Store account upon purchase confirmation. You can manage your subscriptions in App Store account settings after purchase, including turning off auto-renewal.

Canceling Subscriptions: To cancel, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > tap your Apple ID > View Apple ID > Account Settings > Subscriptions > select and cancel. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the subscription period, the subscription will not auto-renew.
