Play friends anywhere, at your own pace. Online rounds are turn-based, so nobody has to be online at the same time — putt, put your phone away, and get a notification when it's your turn again. Answer in a minute or tomorrow morning.

Before you invite anyone, set the round up your way: 1, 9 or 18 holes, and a course of your choosing. Take a shuffled set of hand-made holes, a surprise course, or pick exactly the holes you want. You can even play holes you designed yourself — they travel with the invite, so your friend doesn't need them.

Invite a Game Center friend, or tap Quick match and let someone new join your game. Play with 2, 3 or 4. Everyone picks their own ball, trail, effect and flair before they tee off.

Run as many matches at once as you like. Your list shows the score in every game and marks the ones waiting on you. Gone quiet? Give a friend a friendly nudge.
