Kidadoo

Kidadoo is the app for parents whose child attends a daycare centre or childcare setting that uses Kidadoo, in Luxembourg, Belgium and France. It brings together, in one place, what parents usually ask at the door, by phone or by e-mail.

YOUR CHILD'S DAY
• The home screen shows the day at a glance: attendance, meals, nap, activities, menu and planned events.
• The daily log gathers meals, naps, activities and short notes from the team.
• The week in numbers lets you follow sleep and meals from one day to the next.
• Photos and videos of the day appear only if you have given your consent. You can give or withdraw it at any time from your child's file.

TALK TO THE TEAM
• Messaging puts you in direct contact with the daycare team.
• If your centre has switched on the automatic translation option, messages can be translated into your language; the original text always stays readable.
• The centre's announcements and events appear in the app, and you can register your child for an event.
• Notifications tell you about a new message or announcement. They never show the content of a message on a locked screen, and you choose how often you receive them.

YOUR REQUESTS, FROM YOUR PHONE
• Report an absence (the same day, a few hours or several days), a late arrival or an early departure, and attach a medical certificate by taking a photo of it.
• Ask for an extra day, a swap of days or a change to your child's regular weekly schedule, when your centre allows it.
• Send your documents (proof of income, certificate, ID) by taking a photo or choosing a file, then follow their status.
• Read and sign the documents the daycare sends you.
• Look at your child's file: consents, vaccinations, declared needs.

INVOICES
• Find your invoices and statements as PDF files, with their status.
• If your centre offers it, you can set up a SEPA direct debit. The mandate is signed on the payment provider's page, in your browser: the app never sees your bank details.

MENUS AND CALENDAR
• Today's menu and the menu for the week.
• The daycare's calendar: closures, special days, events.

YOUR WAY
• Seven languages: French, English, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
• Two looks to choose from, Classic and Soft.
• Several children, and even several centres, in the same app.

ACCESS AND PRIVACY
• There is no account to create and no password to remember: the daycare opens your access. You receive a link by e-mail, valid for thirty minutes and usable once.
• No advertising, no tracking for commercial purposes.
• Children's data is protected and hosted in France.

FREE FOR PARENTS
The app is free. Some features, such as automatic message translation, videos or direct debit, are options that the centre chooses and pays for: they only appear if your daycare has switched them on.

Kidadoo can only be used if your centre has opened access for you. If you have not received a sign-in link, please ask the daycare.
