KitChef: Meal Prep & Recipes

Cook what you already have, waste less food and plan your week in minutes. KitChef knows what’s in your kitchen, tells you what to use first and turns it into meals.

TODAY
Open the app and see your day: what’s planned, what’s about to expire and a short note from the chef. Pick a mood — 15 minutes, “with what I have”, light — and get recipes that fit.

FOOD RESCUE
• See what expires in the next few days, in order
• Get recipes that use exactly those ingredients
• Mark food as cooked, frozen or shared and watch your impact grow: kilos, money and CO₂ saved

SMART PANTRY
• Quick Add: type or dictate “2 kg potatoes, milk, 6 eggs” and KitChef sorts it into fridge, cupboard and freezer with expiry dates
• Scan barcodes or snap a photo of your food
• A freshness bar shows what’s fine, what to use soon and what has expired

CHEF AI — PRIVATE, ON YOUR iPHONE
Powered by Apple Intelligence, running entirely on device:
• Ask anything while you cook: substitutes, doneness, fixing a dish
• Adapt any recipe: vegetarian, high-protein, fewer calories, more or fewer servings
• A daily chef note based on your kitchen
Your questions never leave your iPhone.

WEEKLY MENU
• Plan your week like a menu card, with calories and macros per day
• Auto-plan a full week (Pro) and copy weeks you loved
• Build the shopping list straight from your plan

SHOPPING LIST & SHOPPING MODE
• Grouped by supermarket aisle, add several items at once
• Shopping mode puts your list in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen — tick off the next item without unlocking
• Put everything you bought into the pantry in one tap, with sensible expiry dates

COOK MODE
Step-by-step, screen always on, free timers, hands-free voice and a Live Activity for your timers.

EVERYWHERE ON YOUR iPHONE
• Interactive widgets: Rescue, Shopping list (tick items from the widget) and Chef’s note
• Lock Screen widgets and Control Center controls
• Siri & Shortcuts: add to your list, hear your list, what’s expiring
• Smart notifications: rescue mornings, streak saver, Sunday recap — never more than one a day
• Weekly recap you can share, Apple Health sync and Spotlight search

No ads. No tracking. Your kitchen stays on your iPhone.
