If you leave "Share prices anonymously" switched on, the price you paid for a grocery, the shop and the day go into a shared pool so everyone's shopping list starts at a realistic price; nothing identifying you is ever included, and you can switch it off at any time. Running your kitchen by hand is always free: adding groceries, barcodes, your shelves, Cook, the planner, the shopping list, Quick log and the Meals page.

Kitchen Plus Pro adds everything the camera and a link can do for you: scanning receipts, adding food from a photo, calories from a meal photo, and importing recipes from videos and links. Every new account gets 7 days of Pro free, with no card required.

Kitchen Plus Pro is $5.99 per month or $49.99 per year. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
