KORA: Family Tree Genealogy

KORA is a simple and convenient app for building your family (genealogy) tree. It comes in two modes: start free with no account and everything on your device, or turn on the cloud when you want the tree on all your devices and in the hands of your relatives.

TWO MODES
• Local mode (free): no account, works offline, every tree stays on your device
• Cloud mode (KORA Pro): sign in and your trees sync across your devices and can be shared with relatives

FEATURES
• Multiple family trees in a single app
• Add relatives: first name, last name, sex, maiden name, dates of birth and death
• Relationships between people: parents and spouses
• Life events: birth, christening, marriage, residence, occupation, death — with dates and places
• Places on a map: where a person was born, lived and was buried
• Sources: tie a fact to the record it came from, so you never lose track of why you know it
• Memories: stories, photos and voice recordings attached to a person
• A photo and a photo gallery for each person (from your library)
• Notes about each person with Markdown formatting
• Visual tree with connections: drag the cards, zoom in and out
• Fan chart: up to 7 generations in one radial view
• Statistics: how complete the tree is, generations, surnames, places
• Tree checker: impossible dates, implausibly young parents, broken links, likely duplicates
• Merge trees and extract a separate family into a new tree
• GEDCOM: import from other genealogy programs and export back out
• Import and export your data for backup or transfer between devices
• Arabic names: compound names and nasab
• Light and dark themes
• Eight interface languages

KORA PRO (optional subscription — cloud mode)
• Cloud sync: keep a tree backed up and in step across your devices
• Sharing: invite family members to view or edit a tree together — their edits and memories wait for your review
• Voice input: dictate your relatives and let KORA turn them into people and relationships you review before adding
• Printing: an A2 art poster and a multi-page A4 family book — preview free, print-ready PDF with Pro
• AI photo insights: heritage portrait, photo dating, family resemblance — for entertainment, not as scientific fact
$4.99 per month or $39.99 per year. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings.

PRIVACY
• Local mode needs no account, and nothing you enter leaves the device
• Cloud mode uploads only the trees you choose to sync, and you can delete them — and your account — at any time
• The voice feature sends the text you dictate (not the audio) to our server for processing — see the Privacy Policy
• No ads in either mode (usage analytics only)

KORA — your roots, always with you.
