Kruna brings the complete game to a three-dimensional board. Six interchangeable worlds, carefully crafted pieces and subtle sounds give every game its own mood — on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV.

Your board, your pieces
Choose classic Staunton pieces, crystal glass or wood in light maple and dark walnut. Rotate and zoom the 3D board, switch sides or use the clear 2D view. Seasonal Croatian decorations add variety on selected days; you can turn these surprises off.

Play your way
• Against the on-device computer opponent at four difficulty levels.
• With a second player on the same device.
• Without a time limit, or with bullet, blitz, rapid and classical chess clocks.
• With optional legal-move guides and a highlight for the last move.

Castling, en passant, promotion, checkmate, stalemate and the relevant draw rules are all part of the game. Kruna records moves in algebraic chess notation. You can take back moves in local games and against the computer.

Something to think about every day
180 chess puzzles are arranged in 60 daily sets, each with three learning levels. Step-by-step hints help you along; you can replay solutions move by move. The puzzle cycle starts again after 60 days.

Start here, continue there
Games in progress are saved locally; completed games are archived with their moves. If you wish, Kruna syncs your local games and games against the computer through your private iCloud account. You can then continue them on another device you own using the same iCloud account. If different game states arise, they are kept as separate variants. You can keep playing locally when offline.

Your game as a movie
Relive a game as a short movie with selected scenes or as a full replay, accompanied by music and game effects. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, export and share movies in 1080p or space-saving 720p. On Apple TV, you can watch the movies.

Your iPhone as a personal controller
Use your iPhone to control a local game on iPad, Mac or Apple TV on the same network. Even against the computer, your iPhone controls your side while the big board stays on the other device.

As quiet as you like
Adjust music and game effects separately. Local games, the computer opponent and puzzles work offline. Kruna does not require a separate user account.

Just start playing
Three new games per day are free. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited new games, with no subscription. You can continue games you have already started; puzzles and game movies do not use up your free games.
