Kubaj: Volume Calculator

From standing log to cubic meter, calculated where the trees are.

If you have ever stood in a yard with a tape measure, a calculator and a damp notebook trying to price a stack of timber, Kubaj is the tool you wish you had brought.
It is a quiet, on-device volume calculator for forestry — built for timber merchants, forest engineers, sawmill owners and log buyers who need precise numbers in the field, in the truck, or at the mill.
The philosophy is simple: a log volume calculator should give you the right cubic meter at the right moment, without demanding a signal, an account or a desk.
Every lot, every measurement and every customer record stays on this device — no cloud upload, no third-party server reading your business, no spreadsheet round-tripping through email.

Every feature described below is unlocked only with an auto-renewable subscription purchased inside the app. New users receive a 3 day free trial; you may cancel anytime during the trial to avoid being charged.

Enter diameter, length and trim, choose the method that matches your local standard, and the result is ready before you put the phone back in your pocket.
Huber, Smalian, Newton, JAS, Doyle and Scribner are all supported, with unit conversion between centimetres, metres, inches and feet.
Batch calculation handles a full lot at once, so a truckload of logs becomes a single total rather than thirty entries you have to chain together.
Each lot can be logged with date, location, species and customer for traceability later, and a PDF report exports cleanly for the buyer, the office or the tax file.
A clear summary view shows total volume, average log size and lot value in one glance.

Beyond the core calculator, Kubaj handles the messy realities of working in a forest.
Pricing per cubic meter turns rough field numbers into real invoices, a customer directory remembers who pays what and when, and advanced reports break the year down by species, by buyer and by yard.
You can edit a measurement when a tape slipped, duplicate a previous lot for a repeat job, and recalculate everything in a different method if a buyer prefers Smalian over Huber.
Mixed lots with different species and grades stay readable, with totals at the bottom and exceptions called out without clutter.

Everything works offline, because forest roads do not have signal and battery icons flash red at the worst times.
The interface ships in 39 languages with full accessibility and Dynamic Type, designed for people whose office is a logging trail and whose hands are often gloved.
There is no account, no login screen and no analytics watching your work — your timber volume records belong to you.
Whether you use it as a forestry calculator, a log measurement tool or a quiet sawmill companion, it stays out of the way until you need a number.
