Description

La Rotonda nasce dall’eufemismo di una canzone molto famosa di Fred Bongusto del 1964: “una rotonda sul mare”.

Si narra che il cantante fosse molto amante della pizza e che proprio davanti ad una di queste, ottima e fumante, trovò l’ispirazione per comporre la canzone che diventerà la pietra miliare della sua carriera.

Così, anche Giuseppe Vitale, 45 anni dopo in una sera qualunque di fronte ad una pizza, rievoca questa canzone, e nasce “La Rotonda” sul lago.

E da questo pensiero bizzarro ed originale che Giuseppe, detto Pino, con la moglie Simona (detta Pina) fondano l’omonima pizzeria, cercando negli anni di soddisfare, con prodotti ed impasti ricercati nel corso di un’esperienza trentennale, le crescenti esigenze dei clienti, proponendo pizze e piatti regionali, senza mai distogliere la sua visione dalla tradizione.
Per questo motivo l’azienda è sempre pronta a nuove sfide.
