LaDress is a Dutch fashion brand with one thing in mind - helping you discover the perfect dress for every occasion. A dress that can be worn day and night. A dress that creates the ultimate look for just about any occasion: in the office, dancing the night away or when enjoying the weekend.

The founder

Simone van Trojen, a woman just like any other woman and mother of two, had a dream that eventually developed into something beautiful. After obtaining a law degree she was a corporate executive for several years. Simone spent years looking for that one dress that would fit all her different roles in life. It was this search that in 2006 led her to design her own dream dress: LaDress. Nowadays Simone combines motherhood, marriage, running her own business and a hectic social life all into one.

Philosophy

The perfect dress for every occasion is our metaphor for empowerment. When you look and feel good, you will find the confidence to follow your heart and turn your dreams into reality.

Inspiration

Simone has always admired women who embrace life. Women that express their femininity in an elegant and fabulous way, having trust and belief in themselves. When creating the collections, Simone pictures timeless beauties like Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren and Catherine Deneuve. But also more contemporary icons like Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow never fail to inspire.

Craftsmanship

We care deeply about making the best and most beautiful garments possible. Our fit is renown for its precision and flattering effect. This is because we work with traditional pattern-making experts that have had couture schooling and experience. We select fabrics from the best houses, mainly in Italy. We work together with skillful European ateliers that cherish old-fashioned craftsmanship as much as we do. Simone wears and tests every dress herself before launching to ensure it fits flawlessly and feels heavenly.
