Set up in 1992, LALIT KALAKSHETRA is the pioneering institute of Art & Culture Education in the State of Tamil Nadu and has been in the vanguard of providing professional human resource to the Art & Culture Industry. The word ‘Lalit’ refers to Fine Arts; and ‘Kshetra’ refers to the place of learning the art, coining the 2 words begins the history and journey of ‘Lalit Kalakshetra’.

The academic tours to various art & cultural festivals, heritage and historic places, events etc., are an inherent part of the curriculum.
