Learn Hanzi with Panda connects four skills in one routine: see and hear a character, follow its stroke order, recognize it in context, and meet it again in a bilingual story.
FREE LEARNING
• Learn 23 foundational characters with full lessons
• Try the complete lesson for 我 at no cost
• Watch stroke order and practise tracing offline
• Listen, choose, build, and use characters in context
• Read four-page Chinese-English stories
MEMBERSHIP
• Unlock all lessons
• Read eight-page bilingual storybooks when weekly eligibility is met
• Receive weekly parent insights and next-character suggestions
• Save up to five custom character sets
• Use up to three optional AI magic activities each day
STORYBOOK ELIGIBILITY
A parent must allow third-party AI sharing and turn on Story co-creation. Complete daily adventures on at least 3 days in the current UTC week, with at least one character meeting the recognition, meaning, and writing goals. Extra groups on one day count once. The app checks eligibility when an adventure finishes and syncs, creating at most one new book per week. Free accounts can read 4 pages; members can read 8. Reviewed story templates are used when AI generation is unavailable.
MADE FOR FAMILIES
Continue learning offline, use English, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese navigation, and review progress in the parent area. Lessons teach Simplified Chinese character forms. Optional Sign in with Apple syncs progress.
