Lecsy: AI Lecture Notes

Lecsy turns any English lecture into clean, searchable notes — automatically.

Hit record at the start of class. Walk out with a full transcript, an AI summary, and a set of likely exam questions. For university students tired of retyping notes at midnight.

Free to download. Sign in and get 3 hours of Premium AI English transcription, free — no credit card. Want more cloud transcription? Lecsy Pro is optional. The Free tier stays free.

■ Made for students, not meeting rooms
• One-tap background recording — keeps running when your screen locks or you switch apps
• 3 hours of Premium AI English transcription, free — high accuracy with live captions
• After your premium hours: unlimited offline English transcription on device (WhisperKit) — works in lecture halls with no Wi-Fi
• AI summaries: key points, section outlines, definitions
• Exam Mode: AI generates likely test questions with model answers
• Summaries in your native language — record the English lecture, read the summary in 9 languages (English, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Hindi)
• Web access at lecsy.app — read, search, and copy transcripts on any laptop

■ Lecsy Pro (optional)
20 hours of premium cloud transcription per month — high-accuracy English captions. After that, transcription continues on your device (offline, unlimited).
• $9.99 / month, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers
• The Free tier remains fully usable without Pro
• Cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings

■ Privacy you can verify
Your .m4a recording file is never stored by Lecsy — it stays on your iPhone, never saved to your account or our servers. For transcription, audio is handled two ways: during Premium AI and Pro cloud transcription, audio is sent over TLS to our speech-to-text provider, transcribed, and not stored by Lecsy; otherwise transcription runs entirely on your iPhone and audio never leaves your device. Transcript text syncs to your account only when you're signed in. Using AI Summary or Exam Mode sends your transcript text (not audio) to our server and to OpenAI's API to generate results; OpenAI does not train on API content. No ads, no trackers, no IDFA. We never sell your data, and our providers do not train on it per their API terms.

■ Pricing
• Free to download: 3 hours of Premium AI, then unlimited offline English transcription.

• No ads. No trackers. No data sold.

■ Requirements
iOS 17.6+. On-device speech model (~75 MB) is bundled — no download. Premium AI / Pro cloud transcription and AI features require internet (audio not stored by Lecsy); otherwise English transcription works offline. Sign-in required (Apple, Google, or magic link).
