Private mock ballot
Save your choices for each race privately, for your own planning. Your mock ballot is never submitted anywhere and is never an official vote.

Daily polls
Answer neutral support-or-oppose questions on public-policy topics, each reviewed by a person before publication. See how responses break down in aggregate.

Values quiz
Take an optional 33-question quiz to understand your own civic leanings. The quiz is for your self-understanding only — it never reorders or hides anything on your ballot.

Ask Vera
Vera is a civic assistant grounded in cited public sources. Ask factual questions about offices, candidates, and ballots, and see the sources under every answer. Vera declines to recommend candidates by design.

HOW LEDGER IS DIFFERENT

Transparency first — Ledger shows everything on the ballot, not a curated subset.
Facts with citations — every important claim keeps its source, from the FEC to Congress.gov to state election offices. When information is not publicly available, Ledger says so plainly.
Non-partisan — Ledger does not endorse, rank, or characterize candidates, and does not process political donations or advertising.
Private by design — your mock ballot, quiz answers, and address are yours. Address and quiz answers are not sent to the AI.

HONEST LIMITS

Ledger covers federal races at this release; state and local contests are on the roadmap. A free Ledger account is required, and a US address is required to receive a personalized ballot. Some features, including streaks and additional activity, are still in development. Vera answers only from sourceable public information.

Ledger is a civic transparency tool. It will never tell you who to vote for.
