This app is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tool useful for all Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) including aphasia, dysarthria, autism, speech apraxia, MND, Asperger’s, cerebral palsy, SEN, and more.
Suitable for both tablets and phones, users have the choice of typing out messages or tapping on a series of pre-programmed word and picture options to build sentences that Lemmi will automatically read aloud.
Developed in response to a personal experience of aphasia caused by a stroke. Lemmi has been designed to give individuals, families, caregivers and Speech and Language Therapists (SALT) a simple, modern and efficient speech tool.
Lemmi provides a voice to everyone, enabling users the freedom and independence to take part fully in conversations and to express their thoughts and needs clearly with others.
