Letters Klacks

Letters Klacks combines a classic matching card game with the alphabet – the card game from Alster- und ElbHarmonie, now as an app for iPhone and iPad.

HOW TO PLAY
Put down a card if its colour or its letter matches. "L is for lion!" – every letter is read aloud with its picture as the card is played. Letters and first sounds sink in almost by themselves: see, hear, repeat.

PLAY AGAINST LEO, TOM AND DAISY – OR TOGETHER
Play against Leo Lion, Tom Tiger and Daisy Deer – with two, three or four players. Or play with brothers, sisters and friends on one device: each child picks their own ABC picture, and you simply pass the iPad round. The cards stay secret.

LEO EXPLAINS THE GAME
In the first game, Leo Lion shows what to do with a speech bubble and a pointing finger. Children can start straight away – no grown-up explanation needed.

PICTURE ABC
All 26 letters with their pictures at a glance. Tap one and it is read aloud: "E is for elephant". In the game too: press and hold a card to hear what is on it.

MADE FOR LITTLE HANDS
• Big cards – cards that fit light up
• Short rounds of about two to three minutes
• Lucky card: anyone who has had to draw three times gets a card that fits – no frustration
• Rules with pictures right in the app

PART 1 FREE – UNLOCK PART 2
Part 1 "A to M" is free and fully playable – with any number of players and the action cards +1, +2, Wish card, Bedtime and Change direction.
Part 2 "N to Z" (one-off in-app purchase, no subscription) adds the second side of the cards and "Twist all": all cards are flipped over, and suddenly the other half of the alphabet counts! The purchase is for parents only, behind a parental gate. The Picture ABC with all 26 letters is always free.

ADJUSTABLE
• Easy start without action cards
• House rule for the +1 card, lucky card on/off
• 1, 3 or 5 rounds
• Voice and sounds can be switched off separately – even just for certain players

SAFE FOR CHILDREN
No ads. No sign-up. No data collection. A single one-off purchase – for parents only, behind a parental gate, handled by Apple. Play completely offline, no internet needed.

Letters Klacks is also available as a real card game: the Pocket Edition with 74 double-sided cards from Alster- und ElbHarmonie.
