You can start small: log your weight, your health and your workouts. Or go all the way: a full competition prep with every detail you need. You set it up, the app keeps up.
You choose what to check in and when. Weight, sleep, energy, mood, stress, soreness, hunger, water, caffeine, or a field you add yourself. Morning, evening, or any time. Sick, travelling or a night out? One tap, and it is on record. Sleep, steps, resting heart rate, HRV and more each have their own Apple Health switch. Put the cards on your dashboard in the order you want.
Progress photos, measurements and a few short questions go in on the days you choose. Your averages are already counted from your days, so you type almost nothing. You can put two check-ins side by side and compare the photos.
Getting a plan is easy. You can answer four questions and LiftScan picks one for you. Or scan the plan you have from a PDF, a photo or a screenshot, and check what it read. Or enter a coach's code, or build your own. Or skip the plan and just log as you go.
In the gym, last time's numbers are already filled in. One tap on the check saves the set. Hold it, and you can grade the set from Perfect to Fail. When you reach the top of your rep range on every working set, an arrow on the exercise shows there is room to add weight. The session sits on your Lock Screen, and you can log sets from your Apple Watch. After the session, a summary shows what you beat compared with last time. Cardio goes in the same log, with GPS for outdoor sessions.
You can log a meal by scanning the barcode, taking a photo of the plate, or typing what you ate in plain words. The food database has 3.2 million foods. Nothing saves before you check it. You can set targets for calories, protein, carbs and fat. Drinks count toward your fluid and caffeine for the day. You can tick off your supplements as you take them.
With your permission, LiftScan reads your sleep, heart rate, steps and weight from Apple Health. The recovery and sleep scores sit at the top of the Health tab. Tap one to see each part.
Progress gives each lift a plain verdict from your own top sets: progressing, holding or needs attention. The diary keeps every day in the order it happened. The planner shows what you train on which day. The Trophy Room counts your work with ranks, quests and a medal for each month. The workout screen comes in ten styles. Widgets show your day on the Home Screen. Training with a coach already? You can connect to them in the app, and they see your workouts, check-ins and weight.
If you want one, an AI coach reads all of it: training, food, sleep and check-ins. It answers your check-in, writes you a short brief, and shows where each line comes from. You can ask it questions. If it gets something wrong, you can tell it why, and your rule outranks its own. It suggests. You decide.
