The Light Mind Meditation app conveys ancient spiritual teachings translated by Rama, an American teacher, in meaningful ways for living in today’s world. Quotes in the form of audio and text, set against beautiful photographic backgrounds, transport you into realms of wisdom and silence.

How the app works: 1. Meditate with Rama guides your meditation with quotes that can move you into stillness 2. Daily quote notifications delivered each day at noon (you can change the time in Settings) 3. Opening the app from the phone icon takes you to the landing page. Tap to start the sequence of daily quotes 4. Menu includes: a. Daily Quotes – starts a sequence through randomized daily quotes b. Meditate with Rama - starts a timed, guided meditation c. Schedules - allows you to schedule quotes from different talks to be delivered throughout the day d. Search – find quotes by searching a word, for example, love, strength, etc., then play all in sequence, shuffled, or as a guided meditation e. Favorites – allows you to play through all your favorite quotes, in sequence, randomized, or as a guided meditation f. Settings - allows you to change: • Text on/off • Audio on/off • Time delays between quotes • Daily quote notification time g. All Talks - Sequence through quotes from several different talks including: • Meditation • Buddhism • Power • Balance • Wisdom • Enlightenment • Personal Happiness • Reincarnation • Career Success • Miracles • Intermediate Meditation • The Enlightenment Cycle

About Rama: Rama was born in 1950 in San Diego, California. He grew up on the East Coast, weaned on Rock N Roll and influenced by the 60's Counter Culture. He was attracted to Buddhism in his teens, and went on to study Meditation with teachers from the East. After spending thousands of hours over many years in meditation and teaching, he became absorbed in a non-dualistic state of equanimity and brilliance called Samadhi. After a lifetime of service, Rama passed away in 1998. Rama taught that we are all capable of achieving clear, joyful, loving and powerful states of mind as we practice meditation and mindfulness.
