FINISH RECLAIMING STORAGE IN PHOTOS
Converted originals still use storage in Recently Deleted. Check your still replacements before permanently deleting the originals in Photos, or let them expire. The app cannot empty Recently Deleted for you.

Originals can normally be recovered from Recently Deleted for up to 30 days unless permanently deleted sooner. Once an original is permanently deleted, its motion and sound cannot be restored by the app.

ICLOUD AND STORAGE ESTIMATES
Some photos may need to download from iCloud before conversion. Changes sync to other devices using the same iCloud Photos account. Actual local savings vary, especially with Optimize iPhone Storage, and may differ from the app's estimates.
