Living Casefiles

Every frame is an unsolved case.
Living Casefiles is a jigsaw made of Video. A scene, paused mid-breath, cut into pieces a
nd scattered across the table. Drag them home. When the last one lands, the still you hav
e been staring at starts to move.
Piece the picture. Beat the clock.
Each case is a short scene, broken apart. The timer starts on your first move. Finish ear
ly and keep your rating. Hesitate, and the moment stays frozen.
The last piece presses play.
Most jigsaws end with a picture. This one ends with a film. Neighbouring pieces snap toge
ther on their own, so the board gets easier the closer you get — and the reward is not a
still, but the few seconds that were happening inside it.
Every case is a short film.
A lamplit study. A rain-slick corner. A phone nobody answers. One visual language, one mo
