Description by Chronologic Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
The first timepiece is a quarter repeater which, when actuated, strikes the number of hours and then the number of quarter hours since the last hour. The mechanism uses 2 chimes of different tones. The low tone signals the hours, and the high tone the quarter hours. The chimes are created by two hammers which strike gongs.
Both sides of the watch are visible (by selecting ‘dial side’ or ‘mechanism’). Again, the real time is always indicated.
More timepieces will be added as the app develops.
