Description
You know your child. Something doesn’t feel right — but you don’t know where to start.
Maybe your child struggles with handwriting, coordination, focus, emotions, behaviour, sensory sensitivities, excessive screen time, unhealthy lifestyle habits, or school participation. You’ve searched online for answers. You’ve waited months for referrals. You’ve been told to “wait and see.” But your child still needs support now.
Locus was created to help parents take meaningful early action — especially when therapy services feel difficult to access because of long waiting lists, high costs, distance from specialist services, or uncertainty about where to begin. Early support can make a life-changing difference. Locus helps families recognise challenges early and begin guided intervention at home before difficulties impact confidence, learning, independence, emotional wellbeing, health, and everyday life.
FREE CHILD SCREENING
Start with our free screening tool designed to help parents better understand their child’s development and daily functioning. Answer simple questions related to:
• Motor coordination • Fine motor and handwriting skills • Attention and concentration • Emotional regulation • Sensory sensitivities • Behavioural challenges • Learning and school performance • Gadget addiction and excessive screen time • Confidence and self-esteem • Healthy lifestyle habits and childhood obesity concerns • Daily living skills
The screening helps identify areas where your child may need additional support.
PERSONALISED REPORTS
After completing the screening, parents receive a personalised report highlighting possible areas of difficulty and support needs. Each support area is graded using percentage scores to help parents understand the level of difficulty. Higher percentage = higher level of difficulty. The report is designed using simple parent-friendly language without confusing medical terminology.
HOME-BASED THERAPY PROGRAMMES
If concerns are identified, parents can access structured home-based intervention programmes created by Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Special Educators. Programmes support:
• Gross motor development • Fine motor and handwriting skills • Attention and concentration • Behaviour and emotional regulation • Sensory integration • Confidence building • Screen addiction management • Healthy routines and lifestyle habits • Childhood obesity support • School readiness and participation skills
Practical activities are designed for real family life and can be implemented at home.
PROGRAMME LEVELS
• Basic Programme (3 months) – ideal starting point for early support • Intermediate Programme (4–6 months) – for children needing additional guidance • Advanced Programme (7–12 months) – for long-term structured support Parents can begin with the Basic Programme at a nominal starting cost before progressing further.
NO LONG WAITING LISTS
Many families wait months—or even years—for assessments and therapy services. Locus helps parents begin supporting their child immediately instead of feeling helpless while waiting. Whether services are unavailable, too expensive, too far from home, or difficult to access, Locus empowers families to take positive first steps with confidence.
