Long Distance: Your Couple App

Long Distance is a couples app for the small stuff. Send a photo of your breakfast to your partner's Home Screen, leave a note that says "out of milk, love you", or start a countdown to the anniversary one of you always forgets.

It's for every couple, whether you share a home or not.

Photos and doodles on their Home Screen
Take a photo or draw something, on a blank canvas or right over a picture. Add a caption bubble like "Hey you up?", a clock or a greeting, then send. Seconds later it's on your partner's Draw & Snap widget without them opening the app, and a tap on the notification lets them reply. Recent snaps stay in a shared gallery, where you can replay how a drawing was made.

Couple challenges
In the Quiz tab you each answer on your own phone, and neither of you sees the other's answers until you've both finished. Then Result puts them side by side: you both picked this, or you very much didn't. My Turn and Their Turn show whose move it is, and there's a nudge for when they're taking their time. A daily Quiz Reminder arrives at 8pm, and you can turn it off.

Five topics, 15 quizzes
There are 15 quizzes of 10 questions each, across Just for Fun, Read My Mind, Heart to Heart, Grown-Up Stuff and Feeling Flirty. One quiz in every topic is free, including Yes or No, Love Languages, Money Talk and Who's Most Likely To?

Countdowns
Your anniversary and both birthdays roll over every year on their own. Each one is a full-photo card that says something like "9 days to go", and you both see the same cards. Switch between Upcoming and Memories, where past days turn black and white. Premium adds custom countdowns for anything you like, your own photos and a reminder before the day.

Shared Note
One note for the two of you, for the weekend list or Friday's plan. Tap send and your partner gets a notification, and their Shared Note widget shows the new version and who changed it. Either of you can edit it, and it's free.

One globe for you both
The Distance tab puts both your photos on a 3D globe, with your cities, each person's local time, how many hours apart you are and the distance between you. Ghost Mode hides your pin whenever you want. Only your partner can see your location.

Six widgets
- Draw & Snap shows their newest photo or drawing, in Small and Large
- Shared Note comes in Small, Medium and Large, and on the Lock Screen
- Distance shows both cities, local time and the distance, in Medium, Large and on the Lock Screen
- You & Them puts your mascot, mood or message next to theirs, in Medium
- Countdown shows the next one up, or the one you pin, in Small, Medium and on the Lock Screen
- Days Together counts the days since you got together, on the Lock Screen

Private to you two
You pair with one person, using an invite link or a 6-character code. What you send goes to your person and nobody else. Your shared streak grows every day you both send a snap, update You & Them or answer a quiz question.
