Longbox: Comic Collecting

Longbox turns photos of your comics into an organized collection.

Point the camera at a cover, or import photos from your library in bulk. Longbox reads each photo and fills in the series, issue number, publisher, year and an estimated condition. Every photo lands in your Inbox, where you can accept it, fix any details, or retry it before it goes into your collection.

CAPTURE QUICKLY
- Shoot one cover after another with a framing guide and flashlight, or import a stack of photos at once
- Photos are processed in the background, so you can keep shooting
- Crop, rotate and edit any detail before you accept it

BROWSE YOUR COLLECTION
- Every series A to Z, with its publisher, issue count and total value
- Search across series and issues
- Filter by publisher, condition, slabbed, or whether you plan to keep or sell
- Up to 10 photos per comic, with condition you can set yourself or let Longbox estimate from the photos

KNOW WHAT IT'S WORTH
- See what sellers are currently asking for each issue, for raw and slabbed copies
- Prices are clearly labeled as asking prices, with how recently they were checked
- Decide whether a book is worth professional grading with a side-by-side comparison

WISH LIST
- Keep a list of the issues you're hunting for, sorted by series and issue
- Check current asking prices for each one
- Get suggestions for gaps in the series you already collect

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
- No account and no sign-up
- Your collection is stored on your device
- Export a backup file at any time and import it on another device
- Photos are sent for identification only after you agree to it

Your first 10 photo identifications are free. After that, Longbox Unlimited is a monthly or yearly subscription for unlimited identifications of your personal collection (fair use: up to 2,000 comics a month). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
