LookUp identifies architecture from a photo. Take a picture of any building — anywhere in the world — and in seconds you get its architectural style, era and materials, explained in plain language, plus "the tell": the one visual cue that helps you recognise the same style on the next street.

Every building you identify joins your collection, and your city map fills in as you explore. Thousands of landmarks appear as ghost silhouettes, and each one you capture turns to colour. Known landmarks are recognised from where you're standing and come with real facts: architect, year, style, sourced from open data. With LookUp Pro, the landmark greats of Glasgow, Scotland, London and San Francisco appear as silhouettes sculpted from real laser-survey data, not clip art.
