Lunar Touchdown

Land on the Moon yourself.

Lunar Touchdown combines a detailed, zoomable 3D Moon with a hands-on landing simulator. Spin the globe, explore famous craters and seas, then choose a site and take the controls for the final descent.

EXPLORE THE MOON
• Rotate and zoom a high-resolution 3D Moon, from the full globe down to the surface
• Labels for well-known craters, maria, and Apollo landing sites
• Toggle crater and mare labels on or off
• Realistic day-night terminator showing where the Sun is shining

LANDING SIMULATOR
• Select a landing site on the map and watch the approach
• Fly the lander in 3D with on-screen stick and throttle controls
• Watch your altitude and descent speed — touch down gently or crash
• Different terrain to master: flat mare plains, rocky ground, and slopes

DEPLOY THE ROVER
• After a successful landing, deploy a rover and drive across the lunar surface
