With the Lungapp you can learn about how to listen to lungs and hearts. The application aims towards everyone who wishes to enhance their knowledge in these areas.

The Lungapp currently contains 20 cases and every patient has various difficulties from their lungs. Every case also has a short history describing the patient’s case. Every patient has three different sound samples from each lung which gives the user an opportunity to listen to the entire lung on both sides. A total of 120 individual sound samples.

The possibility to in peace and tranquility listen for as long as you want to, increases the chance of you knowing what the sound means when you meet a patient later.

The application is validated by former Cheaf of Ambulance at Skaraborgs sjukhus Md Rolf Svensson and is allowed to be used in educational purpose for paramedics and nurses in this region.
The patient cases are divided after what kind of pathology it is.

1. Heartfailure
2. Pneumonia
3. Obstructiv pulmonary disease (COPD, Asthma)
4. Additional sounds from the lungs (Normal breathing sounds, trauma and other pathological sounds)

The patient categories will be updated as soon as more material is available.
