Lycka is built for one thing: two people staying genuinely close while they live apart.

ONE QUESTION A DAY, ANSWERED BLIND

Every day, at a time the two of you choose, the same question arrives for both of you. You each answer on your own, whenever the day allows. Neither answer appears until both are in. No peeking, no half reveals.

It works with a nine hour time difference and no overlap in your waking hours. Skipping one is a normal thing to do, not a broken streak.

MOMENTS, ON THE HOME SCREEN

Send a photo or a few words. It reaches your partner's home screen widget without them opening the app, and it fades after a day unless one of you keeps it. Kept moments become a shared archive worth going back through.

A RECORD OF YOUR TIME TOGETHER

Plan the next visit and see the countdown on both your clocks. In the days before you meet, the daily question turns toward the reunion, because arriving with the same picture of those few days in your heads is what makes them land. The day after, it helps you hold onto them.

Visits that have already happened stay. Most apps treat closing the distance as the end. We think it is the part that deserves the most care.

WHAT LYCKA IS NOT

No streaks. No badges. No days answered counter. No message telling you your partner is waiting. Nothing here rewards you for opening the app more often, because volume is not what keeps two people close. It's intention. There is no location sharing, and there never will be.

YOUR WORDS STAY YOURS

Everything lives in Frankfurt, inside the EU. Photos sit in private storage that only the two of you can reach. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, and it goes.
