Mahjong scoring is determined by a combination of han and fu. Final scores are rounded up to the nearest 100 points.

5 han or 4 han 30 fu equals Mangan 8000 points
Higher tiers include Haneman, Baiman, Sanbaiman, and Yakuman
Dealer and non-dealer scores differ
Ron and Tsumo scoring methods also vary
