MailDots

MailDots brings your company's email on your own domain (like you@yourcompany.com) to your phone, securely. It focuses on email only: no ads, no tracking.

ENCRYPTION AND PRIVACY
• End-to-end encryption: between two MailDots mailboxes with encryption on, a message is signed and encrypted on the sender's device and opens only on the recipient's device.
• Stored mail encrypted: in a mailbox with encryption on, message bodies and attachments are stored encrypted to your key, so we cannot read your stored content either.
• Your key stays on your device: encrypted messages open only on this device, with your key.
• Signature checks: the sender's signature on an encrypted message is verified, and you are warned if the subject or sender was changed.
• Open-source encryption core (github.com/crearthq) that builds reproducibly.

Honest limits: metadata such as subject line, sender, recipients and date is not end-to-end encrypted. Email from outside reaches our server in the clear and is encrypted as it is stored. Encryption is turned on per mailbox in webmail; mailboxes without it do not get this protection.

SAFE READING
• Emails open in a secure viewer with scripts and network access turned off
• Remote images load through a privacy proxy, so senders can't see your IP address
• Every connection is encrypted with TLS; your account details are kept in the device keychain
• Two-step verification support
• Incoming email is scanned for spam and viruses on the server; report anything that slips through in one tap

WRITE WITH EASE
• Your signature is added to new messages and replies automatically
• Reply, reply all and forward, with Cc and Bcc
• Attachments with safety checks; drafts are saved as you type
• Sent encrypted when every recipient has a key; otherwise you are asked before sending

ORGANISED AND FAST
• Your own folders and colour labels
• Filter unread, starred and emails with attachments; fast search
• Swipe to mark as read, archive or delete

WITH YOU EVERYWHERE
• Home Screen widget: your last four emails without opening the app
• Multiple accounts with unread counts for each; unread badge on the app icon
• Light and dark themes; Turkish and English interface
