MangaLoft — draw manga the way it's printed.

MangaLoft is a focused manga studio for iPad and Mac, built around how manga is actually made — panels, screentones, and clean line art — and how it reaches the printer, with print-ready pages that carry bleed and registration marks.

Set up a document at your paper, binding, and trim size, then build your story page by page.

PANELS & FRAMES
• Split a page into panels with a single drag — clean straight cuts or dynamic angled slashes.
• Drag a divider to re-balance your panels, or merge two back into one.
• Draw inside a frame and your strokes clip neatly to the panel.

SCREENTONES
• Dot, gradient, concentration-line (集中線), and speed-line (流線) tones, plus rope hatching.
• Script Tones: effect tones such as Shock and Flames, or write your own.
• Lay a tone with a lasso, rectangle, or bezier region.
• Move, resize, and rotate tones — crisp at full print resolution — or reshape a tone's outline anytime.

DRAWING & INKING
• Natural Apple Pencil inking with pressure-responsive brushes.
• Build and customize your own brushes.
• Bezier path tool with full anchor editing — add, split, cut, and convert points — and path decorations.
• Mirror the canvas to check your drawing, and keep inking while it's flipped.

LETTERING & BALLOONS
• Vertical and horizontal text with ruby (furigana) and outlines.
• Speech balloons — oval, rectangle, cloud, and burst — with tails.

LAYERS & PAGES
• A full layer panel: add, rename, lock, group, reorder, and duplicate.
• Mark layers non-printable to keep roughs and notes out of the final export.
• Manage multi-page documents; copy, paste, and duplicate pages — even between open documents.
• Keep private idea pages in the Scrapbook; they never export.
• Leave notes on a page for yourself or your collaborators.

SHARED DOCUMENTS
• Work on a manuscript with other artists through iCloud.
• Invite people as Staff or Reviewer; check pages out and in, so no one draws over anyone else.
• Wrap Up brings the finished work home to your original document.

PRINT-READY EXPORT
• Export a page or your whole document as PDF, PNG, or TIFF.
• Choose color or grayscale, and "For Print" (full page with bleed + registration marks) or "For Display" (trimmed for screen and web).
• Output at 150, 350, or 600 dpi.

BUILT FOR iPad AND Mac
• Draw on iPad with Apple Pencil.
• On Mac, draw with a pen tablet (such as Wacom); paths, text, tones, and frames also work with a mouse.
• Your documents move with you through iCloud.

MANGALOFT PLUS
Every export — for screen or for print, one page or the whole document — needs MangaLoft Plus, an auto-renewable subscription (1 year or 3 months). If your subscription ends, your work stays yours: every document still opens and you can view it. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.
