Mawadda: Questions for Couples

Mawadda is one question a night, for the two of you.

Every evening you are both asked the same question. Your answer stays sealed until your partner has answered too. Then the two answers open together, side by side, and you talk.

ONE QUESTION EVERY NIGHT
Write a sentence or record a short voice note. Neither of you sees the other's answer until both are in, so nobody writes to match anybody. A new question arrives after midnight. Free couples get the Fun and Family categories. Premium opens Deep, Deen, Future and the rest, and Intimate for married couples.

START BEFORE YOUR PARTNER JOINS
You do not have to wait for them. Answer tonight's question on your own and it stays sealed on your phone. When your partner joins, your last three nights go with you. Invite them from one sheet: send it on WhatsApp, send it another way, or copy the code.

THE SEALED VAULT
When you sign up you each answer twelve real situations about your life together, and every one stays sealed until you are both in. The day you pair, twelve conversations are already waiting to be opened.

CANDID, FOR MARRIED COUPLES
Twice a week both your phones buzz at the same moment, somewhere between ten in the morning and ten at night. You each send the other a photo of wherever you are. Each of you chooses whether to join, and you can change how often it comes, or leave, in settings. A home screen widget shows your partner's latest photo. Candid is free.

GAMES FOR TWO
Word Relay, Trivia Duel, Camera Roll and Geo Habibi, four games built for exactly two players. Loser makes the chai. Free couples get one game each night, chosen in rotation. Premium opens every game every night.

OLD REFLECTIONS
Every night you have opened stays in one shared archive you can search. Free couples can go back four days. Premium keeps every night.

DEALBREAKERS
An honest deck of the questions couples avoid. You each answer privately, then you see where you both stand.

SULH MODE
For the hard nights: a guided cool down with a breathing timer, a reminder to make wudu, practical steps and a dua.

BARAKAH SEEDS AND THE UMMAH'S GARDEN
Every answer and every finished game plants seeds in your own garden and in the ummah's garden that every couple shares. For every 10,000 seeds the community plants, the founders of Mawadda give $1 to orphan care.

A nightly streak, achievements you earn together, and a reminder at the hour you choose. Photos and past answers are kept on your phone, so they still show without a connection.

YOUR ANSWERS STAY BETWEEN THE TWO OF YOU
What you write is shared with the partner you invited and with nobody else, and never with advertisers. Either of you can disconnect or delete your account at any time from the Profile tab. Deleting an account removes your photos and voice notes with it.

MAWADDA PREMIUM
Mawadda is free to use. Mawadda Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription that opens every question category, every game every night and your complete archive, and removes ads. One subscription covers both of you. Plans: $9.99 per month, or $39.99 per year with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. You can start the trial before your partner joins. Prices are shown in your local currency in the app. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
