Welcome to Mazaj Arabic Charcoal Grill - we are a family run restaurant and the new heart of
Traditional Arabic Dining located in the City Centre of Dundee. Mazaj offers a wide variety of
Authentic dishes from the Middle East with plenty of vegetarian, Vegan and gluten free options
available to everyone. You now have the choice of Traditional recipes of which you cannot find
anywhere else here in Dundee and the surrounding areas. This includes our rich and
flavorsome Tagine and Quzi Sham Dishes. We welcome you to join us at our warm and
atmospheric venue at 48-54 Reform Street for the perfect dining experience.
Our meats are all Halal and freshly cooked on the charcoal grill in front of you, filling the
restaurant with rich and enticing aromas from the Middle East. Choose from any of our dishes
from the charcoal grill which are all served with rice, salad and our special homemade sauces.
If you’d like to try a bit of everything - we have our Mazaj Special Grill on offer which includes
the chef’s choice of various Meze dishes and a grilled meats platter all served on a large
wooden board. You’ll also love our Iskander dishes, all served on a flat bread covered in our
special sauce with flavored butter and yoghurt.
Veggie and Vegan friends, are you tired of going to restaurants and only having one or two
boring Vegetarian options? We offer a wide range of traditional Arabic vegetarian and Vegan
Mains that we ensure will satisfy your tastebuds.
Maybe you’d like to choose from our large list of delicious pizzas. The dough is freshly
prepared in the kitchen then baked inside our super hot stone oven.
Upon special request and with 24 hours notice we have our extra special Mazaj Homestyle
options, one of which is a half lamb Quzi - serving up to 10 people. Perfect for special family
gatherings and celebrations.
Don’t forget to quench your thirst with a refreshing beverage from the bar. We serve a variety of
soft drinks, Beers, Fine Wines, Cocktails, Mocktails and Spirits.
There is always room for dessert! Choose from one of our authentic Arabic desserts, perfect for
that sweet tooth.
