MEO MATE is built to strengthen local communities through dogs, making it easier to connect, support one another, and improve wellbeing for both humans and animals.

LOCATION

Location helps you discover compatible dogs, services, and dog-friendly places nearby. Sharing your location is completely optional. During onboarding, you can choose "Enter location manually" and type any address instead of enabling GPS. If location services are disabled, you can still manually enter a location from your dashboard or search using a place name. MEO MATE remains fully functional without granting location access.

PAYMENTS

No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no digital content are sold.

Two payment flows, both processed by Globadyme using an external card checkout, consistent with App Store Review Guideline 3.1.3(e) for goods and services consumed outside the app:

Marketplace orders for physical products shipped to the user.
Appreciation, an optional tip to a business after a real-world service. Users can always submit a rating without making a payment.

CONTENT MODERATION AND SAFETY

Profile biographies, listing text, and chat messages are filtered server-side against a profanity and slur blocklist before being stored. Users can report or block other users, listings, or messages from the relevant screens. Community Guidelines are available within the app in English and Dutch.

ACCOUNT AND PRIVACY

Creating an account is optional. You can explore MEO MATE in Guest Mode without signing up.

If you create an account, you can permanently delete both your account and all associated data at any time through:

Settings > Personal/Business Info > Delete Account

Password confirmation is required before deletion.

Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are available both within the app and in App Store Connect.

MEO MATE does not collect analytics or track users.
