Metamer

Metamer points your camera at the world and shows it through different color vision. Live simulation of protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia, and achromatopsia lets people with typical vision experience what friends, family, and audiences see. Daltonize filters do the inverse: they boost color separation so people with color vision deficiency can tell confusing colors apart.

A severity slider tunes every filter for anomalous trichromacy, and each filter remembers its own last strength. Torch, front/back flip, and a zoom control that speaks the same 0.5x / 1x / telephoto language as the system Camera.

A movable reticle names the real color under it, even while a filter is active: a carefully chosen 32-name palette, the measured swatch, and the exact hex value. Freeze the frame to inspect a moment, move the points, and switch filters on the held still. Add a second point to compare two colors and get a plain-language verdict on how different they really look.
