Diese App wurde entwickelt für HessenForst und ergänzt die dortige Webanwendung BGIS um eine App für die Arbeit im Wald.
Die App löst die bisherige App WLM Basic App ab, die für HessenForst um spezielle Funktionen erweitert wurde. Eine parallele Installation der WLM Basic App und der MGIS App ist nicht vorgesehen.
Die Inhalte der App zeigen die für den jeweils angemeldeten User sichtbaren Inhalte des Portals (Esri Portal for ArcGIS) an, auf dem sich zu Beginn der Nutzung der App angemeldet wurde. Dort dort konfigurierten Funktionen bestimmen den Funktionsumfang der App.
Zudem wird der Standort eingeblendet und die Karte mitgeführt, je nachdem, welche Funktion gewählt wurde.
Ohne von HessenForst zugeteilte Logindaten für das Portal ist diese App nicht betriebsfähig.
