MiaoKids Math

MIAO KIDS Smart Kit is a system of "Online Education + Offline Toys" that provides children from ages 3 to 6 the most direct and comprehensible learning experience through games and hands-on play. The system will include diverse educational content, including pre-school math, various levels of English reading, music, and Chinese, and the corresponding sets of “application + toy accessories.” Currently the system contains a set of blocks with built-in chips, applications (e.g., “Wonder Math”), and a sensor board. The apps can be installed on a smartphone, a tablet, or even a smart TV or PC. The sensor board recognizes the blocks and transfers corresponding data to the apps via Bluetooth.
Designed by a team of seasoned professionals in education and AI technology, the kit successfully combines traditional toys, the Internet of Things, and mobile games to create an easy user interface. Fun interactions go beyond the screen, and real action replaces screen clicks, making education more realistic and mitigating the issue of cell phone addiction among children. To attract the young learner’s attention, the designs of the sensor board and colored blocks are inspired by the face and food of a friendly kitty who also “accompanies” the learner during game play.
