MichiLoop is a private travel journal for motorcycle rides and car trips, with routes, photos, videos and voice notes. No separate account is needed.

START WITH THE FREE CORE
Free: GPS logs, journals, one-day plans, three saved plans/drafts, basic GPX import, one vehicle, basic editing and export. An optional rewarded ad grants one extra basic-plan creation: up to 3 acquisitions/day, 1 held. Used only after successful save. When ads are unavailable, the same capped credits remain available without ads. Free users may see banners on safe content screens and frequency-limited full-screen ads after saving a new plan. Purchased Creator Pack, active Plus and eligible verified legacy ad-free purchases remove all ads.

Record with or without a plan. Confirm the trip end to save its route, distance and time. Review logs by date or plan and add photos, video, voice and notes later. Start, stop and capture only while safely parked.

REVISIT YOUR JOURNEYS
Revisit completed trips, your Footprint map and vehicle records. Spot Book holds places, notes and up to five photos. Everyday Journal keeps preparation and gear memories.

KEEP TRACK OF COSTS AND FUEL
Set a journey budget, enter expenses and fuel details, and review totals by currency. Scan receipts on-device, then check the suggested fields before saving. Supported devices can also keep step counts for walking segments.

PLAN THE NEXT DAY OUT
Plan stops, distances, arrival targets, breaks and checklists, or duplicate an earlier plan. Keep ferry crossings separate from driving distance. Import GPX key points into a plan and export a saved plan or recorded route. Check planned weather, upcoming plans in widgets, and recording status in Live Activities.

MAKE THE MEMORY YOUR OWN
Capture photos and video up to 60 seconds. Free tools include crop, 90-degree rotation, straightening, brightness, video trim, mute and cover-frame time.
Creator Pack is a one-time In-App Purchase for advanced color, filters, text and drawing/markup, plus traveled route and date, place, distance, and duration overlays. Route-overlay exports in Cover Studio are included; previews and basic covers with the route hidden are free. Creator Pack is also included while Plus is active. Open the still-photo finder from Control Center, Action button or Lock Screen on supported iPhones.

EXPAND YOUR TRIPS WITH MICHILOOP PLUS
MichiLoop Plus is a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription for 2–14 days, additional plans and drafts without credits, KML and map links, per-leg transport and route settings, and a second vehicle and beyond. Creator Pack is included while subscribed. An eligible annual subscriber may receive a 14-day free trial; monthly has no trial. Check current prices and eligibility in the App Store before purchase. Existing plans, vehicles and journals remain viewable after cancellation.

DATA AND SAFETY
Supported data syncs to your private CloudKit when iCloud is available. Budgets, expenses, receipts and walking metrics stay on-device. Export a copy of app data and attached media from Settings.

If you are signed out of Apple Account or iCloud is restricted, you can choose device-only storage after confirming the warning. Saving pauses until the storage location is confirmed. Device-only data is lost when the app is deleted; export a copy first.
Never operate the device while riding or driving. MichiLoop does not replace navigation, emergency services or safety assistance. Confirm roads, weather, opening hours and ferry information with official sources.

Plus renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in Apple Account settings.
