MidRate: Currency Converter

MidRate converts at the mid-market rate, the midpoint between what banks buy and sell a currency for. It adds no margin, so you see the real rate and can tell how much a bank, card or exchange counter adds on top.

EVERY RATE SAYS HOW OLD IT IS
A stamp above the converter shows when the rates were published, and every widget carries the same stamp. Rates update daily for every currency. With Premium, a US dollar base updates every hour; every other base stays daily and says so. If the app goes 48 hours without fresh rates, the stamp turns amber and names the day the numbers are from. They stay on screen, but never pass for current.

MidRate has no accounts, no ads, and no analytics or advertising code. Its App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected".

Rates are indicative mid-market rates, shown for information. Your bank or card provider will quote its own price.

PRICING
MidRate is free to download. Premium is $4.99 a month or $19.99 a year, each with a 7-day free trial, or $49.99 once for Lifetime. Prices are in US dollars; the App Store shows the price for your country.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. A subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple Account settings. The free trial is available once per Apple Account. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and never renews.
