Mixr is an event-based dating app that gives you the opportunity to join dating pools that consist of people who have purchased tickets to the same event as you! With Mixr, you can swipe on, match, and chat with like-minded people, then meet up at the event you already planned on going to!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Mixr is built on top of Eventbrite’s ticketing technology. Here’s how it works:
1. Look for the Mixr Add-On at checkout on Eventbrite, add it to your cart when getting your admission ticket.
2. Download the Mixr mobile app if you don’t already have it and create your profile.
3. Go to the “My Mixrs” section and sync your Eventbrite account with a single click of a button.
4. Take your Check-In Selfie to complete your profile.
5. Start swiping!
WHAT MAKES MIXR SPECIAL?
** Curation **
Our dating pools are by far the most curated on the market. Instead of showing you everyone within a certain radius, we show you only the people who are planning to go to the same event as you.
** Low-Pressure, Guaranteed Meet-Up **
Leave silent matches and awkward first dates in the past. With Mixr, you can meet your match w/ your friends by your side at the event you were planning on attending anyway.
** No Catfishing, No Bots **
Our pools have 2 entry-barriers… a Check-In Selfie that expires every 10 days, and the Mixr Add-On. No unpleasant surprises here.
** No In-App Purchases **
We don’t believe in hiding basic features behind a paywall. With Mixr, you can see everyone who has already sent you a like and send unlimited likes to others.
** Safety **
We understand that some women may be weary about making it known that they are attending a certain event. We heard you. So, for the girls, we’ve built out Incognito Mode. When activated, you will be invisible in the dating pool. Only those you’ve liked will see your profile.
So what are you waiting for? Download Mixr today and meet your match on your terms!
