El ideario de Mixtura se construye sobre la búsqueda y recuperación de viñedos históricos y de sus variedades autóctonas, así como del patrimonio paisajístico, arquitectónico y cultural de cada región.

De acuerdo a la esencia de la Bauhaus, no hay ninguna diferencia esencial entre el artista y el artesano, sino que el artista es un perfeccionamiento del artesano. Y el vino, comprendido como arte, para llevarlo a su máxima expresión ha de ser concebido por maestros artesanos.

Unificando los oficios de viticultor y elaborador, en Mixtura la misma persona que se ocupa del cultivo y cuidado de la vid es la encargada de obtener de cada uva su esencia, manifestada en forma de vino. “Aprender haciendo”.
