Description by De Vante Puiri-Tuia(from the App Store)
Tired of driving in circles looking for parking signs? Mode maps the parking near where you're going — free, timed, and paid — with the rules, hours, and price laid out before you stop.
SEE EVERY PARK, NOT JUST THE PAID ONES Most parking apps only show you what they can charge you for. Mode covers everything: street parking, council lots, parking buildings, and open-air car parks. Browse at no cost, or unlock all 500+ locations with a Mode Plus subscription.
KNOW BEFORE YOU PARK Spots show price per hour, walk time to your destination, time restrictions, opening hours, and whether they're open right now. No surprises. No fines.
COMPARE BY WHAT MATTERS TO YOU Sort by best value, closest, or fastest walk. A spot three minutes further could save you $12 — Mode shows you the trade-off so you can decide.
HOW IT WORKS - Search any address, suburb, or landmark - See nearby parking options on one map - Compare price, walk time, hours, and restrictions - Filter by parking type, time limit, or price - Tap for directions straight to the spot - Save favourites for next time (Features marked Plus require a Mode Plus subscription.)
PARKING TYPES COVERED On-street parking, council car parks, commercial parking buildings, open-air lots, and covered parks — all in one app.
WHAT'S FREE Browse, see basic rules, and get directions at no cost. No account required.
MODE PLUS — SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED Mode Plus unlocks all 500+ parking locations across Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga, and more NZ cities. New spots added regularly.
