Mondego Move

Mondego Move is an independent, unofficial app for the metrobus in Coimbra, Portugal. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Metro Mondego, the Municipality of Coimbra or any government entity. Timetables and fares come from the operator's public information at metromondego.pt. Always check official sources before an important journey.

THE WHOLE NETWORK ON ONE MAP
Since September 2026 the metrobus runs as a Y that splits at Portagem. Mondego Move draws every line in the operator's colors, side by side where they share the road:
• Blue Line (S1, U1): Coimbra B to Serpins
• Red Line (S2, U2): República to Serpins
• Green Line (U3): Coimbra B to República
Suburban S1 and S2 buses continue through Ceira and Miranda do Corvo to Lousã and Serpins. Urban U1 and U2 buses turn at Vale das Flores. Stations on the planned section towards the hospitals (HUC) are on the map too, marked as not yet in service. Switch between standard, satellite and hybrid views and see where you are to find the closest stop.

NEXT DEPARTURES AT EVERY STATION
Tap a station to see the next buses for each line and direction, the full weekday, Saturday and Sunday/holiday timetable, and the stops still ahead. Open the station in Apple Maps or Google Maps to walk there.

TRIP PLANNER WITH FARES
Pick where you start and where you are going, then choose "depart at" or "arrive by". Mondego Move searches the real timetable and shows each bus and any walking transfer, your departure and arrival times, total journey time and the fare for your zones. The timetable is built into the app, so departures and trip plans don't need to download anything.

PINNED TRIPS
Pin the journeys you make every day, like home to university or work to the station, and open them again with one tap.

FARES AT A GLANCE
Single tickets, 24-hour, 72-hour and 7-day passes and monthly passes for the municipal, intermunicipal and regional zones, including the Circula PT discounts.

NOTIFICATIONS YOU CHOOSE
Turn on only what you want: service alerts, timetable changes, updates for a specific line, newly approved events or offers from local businesses. Earlier notifications stay in a history inside the app.

WHAT'S ON IN COIMBRA
Browse concerts, markets, exhibitions, sports, family days and more across Coimbra and along the line. See what's happening now, today, this weekend or later, filter by type, save favorites and share events with friends. Events also appear on the map, grouped by venue, so you can see what's near your stop.

LOCAL BUSINESSES
Find cafés, restaurants, bars, shops and services near the metrobus, with photos, opening hours, whether they're open now, and contact details.

ADD YOUR OWN EVENT OR BUSINESS
Organizing something or running a shop? Sign in with Apple or Google to submit an event or list your business. Every submission is reviewed before it is published. You don't need an account for anything else, and you can delete your account from the settings at any time.
