The Pillar
The home screen features a visual progress column that fills as training stages are completed. It also displays the current activity streak and the status of the day's session.
Guided Training Sessions
The Train section opens the current session. Exercises run in sequence with short rest intervals, concise instructions, haptic feedback, and a monochrome timer ring that tracks each activity.
Progression Stages
The progression plan includes seven stages: Wrist Prep, Wall Plank, Chest-to-Wall, Tuck, Advanced Tuck, Straddle, and Freestanding. Each new stage becomes available after three recorded sessions in the current stage. Previously unlocked stages remain available for additional practice.
Session Log
The Log section records completed sessions and their duration. A twelve-week activity grid provides a visual overview of training consistency.
Line Test
Line Test features a stopwatch for recording a timed hold, a tap-to-stop control, and individual attempt records. The app saves the personal best and displays it on the home screen. New records are highlighted with a dedicated full-screen animation.
Statistics and Milestones
The Statistics section summarizes completed sessions, total recorded hold time, personal best, activity streak, weekly activity, and sessions completed at each stage. Thirteen milestones track progress through the app, from First Block to Monolith Raised.
Ranks and Daily Challenges
Training sessions, recorded hold time, and activity streaks contribute experience points. Eight ranks represent accumulated progress, from Wet Cement to The Monolith. The home screen displays the current rank, a progress bar, and the points required for the next rank.
Each day, three challenges are selected from a pool of seven. These include completing a training block, using Line Test, recording a timed hold, and maintaining a regular training schedule. Challenge progress updates automatically, and completed challenges award experience points. Newly unlocked milestones are highlighted once.
Daily Method Tip
A daily tip provides a short piece of information related to the training routine. Settings include haptic feedback, method notes, introductory safety information, and an option to reset locally stored data.
Local Data Storage
Monolith Cross Trainer stores its data in a single file on the device. No account is required, and cloud synchronization is not used. Core features and recorded progress are available directly within the app.
First-Time Setup
On first launch, a short animation introduces the app's visual identity. A three-page onboarding sequence explains the training approach, progression stages, and basic safety guidance before opening the main screen with the first stage available.
Monolith Cross Trainer combines guided sessions, a structured progression plan, activity records, and performance statistics to help users organize their practice and review their progress over time.
