Mosey Mate: Cozy Step Counter

Meet your new walking buddy! Mosey Mate is a cozy step counter with a trail buddy waiting for you at camp. Take a walk, and come home to a little world that grew while you were out.

Free, private, and no account required.

THE WALKING APP THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO WALK

You already know walking is good for you — that was never the problem. The problem is that step counters hand you a chart, a ring you didn't close, and a streak you're scared to break. None of that is a reason to put your shoes on.

Mosey Mate gives you one. Your steps become Step Seeds, your seeds build a camp, and your buddy remembers every day you showed up. No leaderboards, no competition, and a missed day is just a day off. If fitness apps have only made you feel behind, this one is built to make you feel welcome.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Take a walk. Mosey Mate reads the steps your phone already counts.
2. Come home. Your buddy is waiting with a greeting, a review of the day's walk, and the seeds you earned.
3. Make it yours. Spend seeds on cozy places, decorations, and journeys along the world's famous trails.
4. Come back tomorrow. Your camp shifts with the day-night cycle and seasons.

YOUR TRAIL BUDDY

• Pick your buddy: claim Maple the Corgi or Juniper the Cat free — name them whatever you like — with more buddies waiting further down the trail.
• Mosey Days: walk 1,500 steps and the day counts. No goal to hit, no target to miss.
• The Daily Return: a greeting from your buddy when you get back, and a review of what you accomplished.
• Buddy Journal: first walks, milestones, finished trails, and your own notes, kept in a journal for each of your buddies.

A CAMP THAT GROWS WITH YOU

• Keepsakes: Every day you walk brings you closer to a milestone. When you reach a milestone, your buddy is waiting with a new gift to add to your camp.
• Earned, never bought: keepsakes aren't for sale, and nothing you've earned is ever taken away.
• Every buddy tracks their own progress and has a unique set of keepsakes.

BUILD YOUR HAPPY PLACES

• Five places to decorate: Forest Campsite, Mountain Lodge, Beach Cove, Lakeside Hideaway, and Orchard Cottage, with more coming soon!
• Use seeds to get decorations: Over a hundred decorations, plus frames and wallpapers. No two worlds look alike.
• A living scene: morning, evening, spring through winter — your camp follows the day and seasons.

WALK THE WORLD'S FAMOUS TRAILS

• Ten journeys: Central Park, the Cinque Terre, the Inca Trail, Everest Base Camp, the Pacific Crest Trail, and more.
• Trail notes: real-world notes about each journey, unlocked at each milestone.
• Postcards: finish a journey and keep an illustrated postcard — flip it to read the back, share it to show your progress.

GENTLE BY DESIGN

• Set your own daily goal for motivation at your own pace.
• Earned rest days cover a missed day so your streak carries on.
• Your buddy is glad to see you whether it's been a day or a month.
