MotionEdge: AI Golf Coach

MotionEdge turns your iPhone, iPad, or Mac into a golf swing analysis studio — with an AI coach that actually sees your swing, not just your questions. Bring in your TrackMan data and it connects the positions in your swing to the numbers they produced.

CAPTURE EVERY SWING, HANDS-FREE
Set your phone on a tripod and start hitting. Auto-detection watches for your swing and captures it automatically — no starting and stopping per rep. Choose Quick Review for a fast glance-and-save workflow at the range, or Full Review to scrub through every swing after. Import videos you already have — camera roll, a coach's lesson, a pro's swing off YouTube — and MotionEdge auto-trims them to the swing.

SEE WHAT'S ACTUALLY HAPPENING
Every swing gets a full 33-point pose skeleton overlay, frame by frame. Break it down with the Filmstrip — address, top, transition, impact, finish, side by side. The Setup Overlay shows exactly where your posture changes from address to impact. Draw lines, arrows, and angles directly on the video to check shaft angle, spine tilt, or hip-to-shoulder rotation. Compare up to 10 swings at once — today's driver against three months ago, or your swing against an imported reference video of a tour pro.

AN AI COACH THAT SEES YOUR SWING
MotionEdge Pro's AI Coach has access to your actual swing data — pose landmarks, joint angles, measured metrics, TrackMan radar data and Apple Watch data when present, plus your golfer profile and swing history. That's why it can tell you "your hips moved 3 inches forward by impact, opening your clubface" instead of generic advice. Browse Golf Topics for guided prompts on tempo, rotation mechanics, and short game.

TRACKMAN INTEGRATION
Bring launch monitor data in three ways: import a TrackMan stroke file (.tms), paste a shared TrackMan Report link, or connect live to a TrackMan on your network so video and radar data pair automatically. See ball speed, launch angle, spin, carry, and club path alongside your pose skeleton.

APPLE WATCH INTEGRATION
Control practice from your wrist: start/stop video capture, remote-control the phone camera (lens and FPS), and train tempo with haptics. Use the Watch as a standalone practice tool to grade swings in real time with environmental data — or pair it with the phone for hands-free range sessions.

ICLOUD SYNC & SHARING
Record on your iPhone at the range, then pick up your iPad or Mac at home with everything already there. Share a session with your coach or a playing partner and exchange comments on individual swings. Or export any session as a MotionEdge File (.mef) to send to anyone, Pro or not.

RUNS NATIVE ON MAC
The same app, the same data, on macOS — with multiple windows open at once: sessions in one, swing review in another, AI Coach in a third.

FREE TIER IS A REAL TOOL, NOT A DEMO
Capture, full pose overlays, all drawing tools, all metrics, swing comparison, multi-panel review, and full Apple Watch integration are free. Keep up to 25 active swings and save up to 10 per day from live capture at no cost.

MOTIONEDGE PRO
A 7-day free trial unlocks everything. Pro adds an unlimited swing library, unlimited daily saves, TrackMan integration, Remote Camera (pair a second iPhone as a multi-angle camera), iCloud sync with session sharing, and the AI Coach.

Pro is a monthly ($9.99) or annual ($79.99) auto-renewing subscription billed to your Apple ID at purchase. It renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Need more AI Coach conversations than your monthly Pro allowance? An optional AI Coach Pack ($4.99, one-time, valid one year) is available from Settings → AI Coach — not a subscription, spent only after your monthly quota runs out. One Pro subscription covers up to six people via Apple Family Sharing, AI Coach quota included.
