MoveGenie

Moving home is dozens of small jobs that all land at once. MoveGenie turns them into one clear plan built around your actual move and stays with you long after the boxes are unpacked.

BUILT AROUND YOUR MOVE, NOT A GENERIC LIST

Answer a few quick questions (renting or buying, flat or house, move date, car, children, pets, working from home) and MoveGenie generates a checklist that reflects your situation. Renting adds notice, deposit, inventory and end-of-tenancy cleaning. Buying adds solicitor, buildings insurance and completion documents. A car adds DVLA, V5C and parking permits. Children add school admissions, GP and dentist registration.

EVERY TASK, EXPLAINED

Each task tells you what to do, when it’s due and why it matters, from council tax and electoral roll to broadband, energy switching, mail redirects and stopcock checks. No more guessing what you’ve forgotten.

ASK GENIE ANYTHING

Genie is your AI moving assistant. Ask “what’s the best way to compare energy tariffs?”, “find me places to eat nearby” or “which handyman is close to me?” and get answers grounded in your move, your postcode and your plan.

TRUSTED PROVIDERS, NEARBY

Find removals, cleaners, broadband, energy, tradespeople and more, matched to the tasks on your list and the area you’re moving to. Compare options, see verified partners and get quotes without opening fifteen tabs.

KNOW YOUR NEW AREA BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

Neighbourhood insights pull together the things that actually shape daily life: schools and Ofsted ratings, GPs, dentists and pharmacies, parks and green space, shops and high streets, transport, crime and lighting, cycle routes and EV charge points. Plus direct links to your new council for bin days, recycling, council tax and parking permits.

KEEP YOUR PAPERWORK IN ONE PLACE

The Document Vault stores your tenancy agreement, insurance, contracts and completion papers securely, with renewal and expiry reminders so nothing lapses unnoticed.

THEN SETTLE IN

Once you’ve moved, MoveGenie becomes your local guide. Discover events near you, music, arts and theatre, markets, fitness, family days out, filtered to your interests and your dates. Meet neighbours, ask for recommendations, and buy, sell or give away things locally in your community feed.

ALREADY SETTLED?

Skip the move planning entirely and jump straight to local events, community and things to do nearby.
