Auto handles focus, exposure and white balance while keeping essential creative controls within reach. Tap to set focus and exposure, lock them independently, hold white balance, adjust brightness and control motion rendering.

Move into Pro for direct control of ISO, shutter angle or speed, white-balance temperature, tint, focus and zoom. Set A/B points for repeatable focus pulls and eased zoom moves. Save Pro setups as presets and recall them later.

Shape the frame with aspect-ratio guides or baked crops, anamorphic desqueeze and 35mm adapter image flip. Choose Off, Standard, Cinematic or Extreme stabilization where supported.

MONITOR THE IMAGE

Judge exposure, focus and color with waveform, vectorscope, RGB parade and histogram. Use false color, zebras, clipping indicators and focus peaking.

Output a clean HDMI feed to a compatible external monitor or recorder.

PROFESSIONAL AUDIO

Use built-in, wired, USB-C, wireless receiver or supported Bluetooth microphones.

Monitor with live meters and peak hold, select the microphone, adjust supported input gain and use headphone monitoring. Record AAC, uncompressed LPCM or 32-bit Float audio.

Get in-take warnings for clipping, silence or microphone disconnection.

DUAL CAMERA CAPTURE

Record two cameras simultaneously for interviews, reactions, events and multi-angle production.

Choose picture-in-picture, split screen, two separate files, or live switching between cameras into a single recording.

REMOTE CAMERA CONTROL

Use MoviePro on another iPhone or iPad as a live monitor and remote controller.

Start, pause or stop recording and adjust zoom, focus, exposure and supported Pro controls over local Wi-Fi or Personal Hotspot. Recording continues if the remote connection drops.

Apple Watch provides live preview and start/stop control.
