Description by Mr Wolfe Aviation LLC(from the App Store)
Pass the FAA Aviation Maintenance exams with a tutor in your pocket.
Mr. Wolfe's A&P Prep isn't another question bank grinder. It's an AI tutor built on FAA aligned content that explains the systems behind the questions, so reworded exam items don't sink you on test day. And it covers both sides of certification: the written knowledge test and the oral exam across the table from your DME.
Built by a credentialed instructor with a B.S. in Avionics, USAF maintenance experience, and years teaching at A&P programs in Los Angeles.
WHAT'S INSIDE
- ACS aligned practice questions covering the General (AMG) test - Oral Prep: 60 examiner style oral questions with model answers, what the examiner listens for, and the follow up questions a DME might ask next - An AI tutor that walks you through the why, not just the answer - FAA figures and diagrams pulled from the official airman knowledge testing supplement - A glossary of 185 terms across 20 categories, linked throughout. Tap any highlighted term for a plain English definition without leaving the card - Track your weak areas across ACS codes (AM.I.A through AM.I.L)
WHO IT'S FOR
- AMT students preparing for the FAA written and oral exams - Part 147 program graduates polishing weak areas - Self study candidates working toward their 18 month or 30 month sign off - Anyone who failed a previous attempt and needs to find the gaps
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
Most prep apps hand you 1,500 questions and walk away. This one teaches the systems underneath: fire detection, weight and balance, regulations, electrical fundamentals, math and physics, so you can reason through any version of a question, whether it shows up on a screen or comes from an examiner.
The tutor is private. No account required. No personal data collected. Your questions stay your questions.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Zach Wolfe, "Mr. Wolfe" to his students, is a USAF veteran (F-16 crew chief, KC-135 engine specialist), Magna Cum Laude graduate of West Los Angeles College's first B.S. Avionics class, and holds a California CTE Credential in Transportation. He's taught at multiple A&P programs in LA and runs a private FAA tutoring practice in Mid-City.
