You know what to do. You even know when. Then 7pm arrives, you swipe away a reminder in half a second, and the whole thing slides to tomorrow. Again.
Nagg is an alarm you have to prove yourself to.
HOW IT WORKS
Make a commitment: a task, and a time. "Write the essay intro, 7pm."
At 7pm it rings - through Silent mode, through Focus. This is the same system Apple's own Clock app uses, which is why nothing you've muted stops it.
Then the part that makes it work: dismissing does nothing. Tap it away without proof and it comes back two minutes later. Then again. Five times, then it stops on its own - because an alarm with no end is just noise you'll delete.
The only way to actually silence it is to prove you started.
THREE WAYS TO PROVE IT
Photograph your desk. Your laptop open, your notebook out, whatever starting looks like for you.
Run a 25-minute focus timer. Start it and stay.
Scan a desk code. Print the QR, tape it to the desk you're supposed to be at, and walk over to scan it. The hardest of the three to fake from bed.
WHAT IT COUNTS
A streak that only grows on days you actually began. Not days you opened the app, not days you meant to - days you produced proof.
And an excuse count, sitting right next to it. Every alarm you let run out is one more. It's an uncomfortable number by design.
A weekly report shows both, per commitment, so you can see which of your promises you actually keep.
WHAT IT WON'T DO
It won't motivate you. It won't send a gentle nudge, and it won't congratulate you for opening it. It won't work if you don't set it.
It's a commitment device, and commitment devices only work when you can't argue with them at 7pm.
NAGG PRO
Two commitments are free, forever.
Nagg Pro removes the limit and unlocks the weekly report - $7.99/month or $44.99/year, with a 3-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. It renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings.
Nothing leaves your phone. No account, no sign-up, no server. Proof photos are checked on the device and discarded immediately - never uploaded, never saved to your library.
Requires iPhone with iOS 26 or later.
